This year, CareOregon presents our parade theme, Dream Big, brought to life by our iconic Bigfoot! Dreaming big is for everyone, always. Even when life gets tough, we hope our community keeps dreaming boldly and believing in a better tomorrow.

We're celebrating the power of dreaming big in the health care space. This ensures healthier futures, stronger community connections and greater opportunities for everyone.

We're hitting the streets all parade season! Join CareOregon at one (or more!) of our events and celebrate health, community, opportunities and the power of dreaming big together.

Junior Parade

Children from all parts of Portland participate by dressing in costume, transforming wagons into floats, decorating bikes with colorful flowers, or just parading with friends and family.

American Heart Association Walk

CareOregon is stepping up to save lives by joining the American Heart Association’s 2026 Heart and Stroke Walk as they celebrate over 100 years of making a difference! The Heart and Stroke Walk is a fun, family-friendly event that brings our community together to get active, raise life-saving funds, and support the mission of the American Heart Association.

CareOregon Grand Floral and Starlight Parade

This newly reimagined parade brings together the pageantry of the Grand Floral Parade with the energy and excitement of the Starlight Parade into one unforgettable celebration. Join us for a dynamic, family-friendly parade that honors tradition while embracing creativity, community and innovation.

Juneteenth Parade and Festival

This event connects and enriches Portland's community with the history and legacy of Juneteenth. Come alive with the community for the Clara Peoples Freedom Parade where together, we'll march down Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in celebration.

Portland's longest-running multicultural music and food festival, rooted in the historic Albina community. For over 30 years, Good in the Hood, has created space for Black and Brown artists, small businesses, families, and community organizations to come together, celebrate culture, and strengthen opportunity.

Portland Pride Festival and Parade

The single, largest visibility avenue for our region's LGBTQ+ community organizations and businesses. This year's theme, Made with Pride, captures the essence of creativity and innovation while reminding us of the historical roots of Pride as a movement.
